A little town just north of me in the North Georgia Mountains has the most festive Christmas Celebrations guaranteed to warm you with holiday cheer! Complete with a "Norman Rockwell" village square, festooned with Victorian-era costumed carolers, hot cider and Christmas cookies in every shop. Twinkly lights fill every tree! These festivities start right after Thanksgiving, so we get to enjoy them anytime throughout the holiday season!
I'm sure each of you live within an hour of such lovely fall and/or Christmas festivities! Why not make these celebrations known in your home exchange listing, then tell someone else who lives within 5 hour trip of your house about it and maybe you'll create for yourself a Mini-Winter Wonderland Retreat for your family!
