"Hello HsNeighbours!

We are the Moore family, Dave (Dad) pharmacist, Sandy (Mom) outdoor science educator, Matthew (12) and Alicia (8). We are a very outdoorsy family (as you can see in the photo) and love to explore and enjoy the beautiful world God has given us. Our interests include canoeing and camping, birdwatching and gardening as well as many winter activities such as skiing and skating. We have enjoyed the homeschool lifestyle for the past 8 years following the Charlotte Mason approach and as such we love great books, historical sites and nature study. We love to travel and have taken the month of September off for many years to "hit the road" and explore most of North America. To keep costs down we travel frugally, live in a tent and stay with friends whenever possible. We also love to host guests in our home and have had visitors from Australia, Spain, Germany, USA and many parts of Canada. We love the home exchange concept and are looking forward to discovering new places and new friends."
